A NEW YEAR OF HOPE AND DETERMINATION: EMBRACING GOD’S GOOD PLANS FOR YOUR LIFE

As we cross over to the New Year, let us remember today’s word for us. This verse is a beacon of hope and encouragement, reminding us that God has good plans for our lives, plans that bring us prosperity, hope, and a future.

We should expect good things in the new year because God is a God of hope and abundance. He desires to prosper us, not to harm us. He wants us to have a hope-filled future, not a future filled with fear and doubt. Therefore, God has a positive and prosperous future planned for us, if we align ourselves with His will. Above all, God is a faithful God. He is faithful to His promises, and He has proven time and time again that He is a God who keeps His promises. (Ref: Psalm 89:34). Finally, God is a God of new beginnings, who makes all things new, and therefore ready to do a new thing in our lives in the new year.

How Can We Align Ourselves with God’s Plans for Our Lives in the new year?

·        Surrendering any fears or doubts about the future. So that God will begin to work in our lives and bring us hope and a future.

·        Meditating on God’s Word and reflecting on the assurance that He has good plans for our lives. When we meditate on God’s Word, we can be confident that He will guide us and direct us in the new year.

·        Praying for a heart that aligns with His plans. By so doing, we can be confident that He will give us the wisdom and knowledge we need to live according to His will.

With faith in God’s good plans for our lives, we can embrace the new year with hope and determination, trusting that He will guide us and direct us in the path He has for us. May we surrender any fears or doubts about the future and embrace His promise of hope and a future. AMEN.

  PRAYERS:

Dear Lord, I come before you today with an open heart and a willing spirit. I surrender any fears or doubts about the future, and I embrace Your promise of hope and a future.
