GOD IS FAITHFUL!

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself - 2 Timothy 2:13

A Cardinal teaching of the church is that God is faithful to His word, and would never fail in any of His covenant towards us. After so many years of learning process, I have learned how to stop worrying and letting go, believing that God is in control. Often times, it seems that God is far away and probably not hearing my cries. Also, at some other crucial moments, it would seem as if, even if God were to sit close to me, He would still not respond for reasons known to Him alone. I am convinced that learning to let go and letting God have His way in our lives is the best thing we can do for ourselves in critical situations when our abilities and so called “powerful connections” crumble like packs of cards. If you have ever been in a situation of great need and no ready help from anywhere, you will understand the faithfulness of God, when things suddenly get sorted out. The best and fastest way to experience the faithfulness of God is when you have tried everything humanly possible, using your abilities and ingenuity, and yet no positive results. At that point, please simply let go of your hold on the problem, and let God take control.

At first, this may be difficult to practice, but with consistent trust in God, and letting him take control when your abilities have failed to solve your problems, God begins to get closer to you. There are so many people who have worked throughout their lives and never got what they wanted, but they trusted God despite that. At some point later, when they had gone into retirement, light suddenly showed up at the end of the tunnel, beaming on their face some golden rays of hope and fulfillment. That, of course, is an aspect of the faithfulness of God which never ceases. Beloved, God takes control where our abilities stop, and if we are able to surrender to Him at that point, He would work for us. The word of God is reminding us today that God would remain faithful, even though we become depressed and are unable to trust Him any further. Beloved, possibly you had prayed, fasted and deployed your abilities concerning some issues and yet no result in sight. Please remember that He is there with you; stop fretting, Remain calm and let go completely as if the problem does not exist. Look beyond the problem and focus on God’s mercy and love. Try doing the following when you are faced with challenges:
1. Surrender control to God in prayers and let him direct how you go.
2. Be still; stop fretting; the Lord will take control.
3. Look beyond the problem; Focus your mind and attention on God’s love and mercy.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I place all my trust and hope in you because you are a faithful God. You keep your covenant and steadfast love with those who love you and obey your commandments, even to a thousand generations. Therefore, I declare I am established in all areas of my life, and I am completely shielded from every evil. AMEN
